Anyhow I liked Joe Cocker and Annie Lennox and I couldn't beleive that Ray Davies did "Lola".

All in all, a pretty darn good concert. Everyone in the audience did look over 50 though, strangest thing.

Why the f**k would over a million people turn up to see a lady that couldn't care less about them and views them with utter contempt? And the irony is that it is these so called "commoners" who are paying for her extravagant life style and yet they are the ones who are so delighted and grateful everytime they catch a glimpse of this old lady whom they have elevated to the state of a deity.

On the other hand, it is communists, socialists and republicans (those who are more concerned with the welfare of the people) who are detested and vilified by the majority. I don't know whether to smile about it or cry???

She does some good stuff and Phil is awlays good for laugh but nothing justifies the huge amounts of money and titles that they are presented with and pass around the family. They get millitary posts and pensions despite no-ing nothing about war-fare.

I don't mean to be disrespectful. I mean, her life is really hard work, with all that flying round the world talking to important people. I'd never want to get free holidays. And all that waving she does must really tire her out. Poor lady. I feel really sorry for her. =)
And when she goes home at night, she has to look at paintings by the finest western artists, and slum it in a palace of gold and ivory, marble and antiques. Poor lady. She has done so much for us :)
