Michael Moore recently said:

I don’t agree with the copyright laws and I don’t have a problem with people downloading the movie and sharing it with people as long as they’re not trying to make a profit off my labor. I do well enough already and I made this film because I want the world, to change. The more people who see it the better, so I’m happy this is happening.

So here are the instructions to download the movie:

Direct Download: http://bulk2.ctyme.com/f911.avi (AVI format)

File sharing download:
1. download BIT TORRENT 3.4.2.exe (Link (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/bittorrent/BitTorrent-3.4.2.exe?download)) and install
2. download Fahrenheit.911.DVDRiP.XViD-DvP.torrent (Link (http://66.90.75.92/suprnova//torrents/2523/Fahrenheit.911.DVDRiP.XViD-DvP.torrent)) on your desktop (DVD-rip, Xvid (http://files.xvid.org/downloads/xvidcore-1.0.2.zip))
3. open it with BitTorrent
4. start download

Thanks Malte, this is great! I've wanted to see this movie before the election and dont have a dvd player but I'm running into a problem downloading.

Has anyone tried to download this yet?

I run into a problem at step one downloading the bit torrant. I choose the NY mirror voxrox and I'm just taken to a website to purchase something or other kind of shit. :(

HOw can I bypass that to get to the install?

Here are some more thoughts of me on the movie (just published them in the e-zine, together with the download instructions):

Fahrenheit 9/11 is without question very far away from having any socialist message, it would be easy to rip apart the movie from a radical leftist point of view. Beside it's general reformist stance, the disgusting "I'm the true American patriot" atitude, and quiet a few more questionable things (in one word "liberal"), it is blatantly using polemic, demagogic and propagandistic means, but admitingly Michael Moore is doing damn good in that. Fahrenheit 9/11 has and probably will wake up quiet a few people about the truths of the US elections 2000, the US imperialism and the war on Iraq and the Bush administration in general, so I think it can help the socialist cause, and it won't hurt to get as many people as possible to watch it, especially those who aren't usually confronted with the truths that the movie is revealing.

Um, I'm having trouble with step #2....the Fahrenheit911.torrent...and it says: "Problem connecting to tracker - <urlopen error (10061, 'Connection refused')>

Anybody else getting that?

Usually with torrents when that pops up if you leave it open for long enough it will eventually start to connect and download.

I am having the same problem with step 2 as I did with step 1, which takes me back to the purchasing site. :(

I'm gonna guess that the site you're being brought to is the BitTorrent website where you can donate to keep it up. Just click Cancel or something to that accord and it should start to download but you'll probably get the same problem as EneMe.
