read this. its sad. I read it at work, where our network does not bring up images, and i thought this guy was black, which made me very very sick, and sad for him...he is white, now that i see the image, so now it is a different kind of sad..

What has that got to do with general politics. Its about a footballer who joined the army

This has everything to do with General Politics...

Aside from the fact that he is admired as a football player, this poor guy posesses a number of things that are truly despised by the America entity....first, the non-consumeristic lifestyle and attitude, which was more or less dubbed as unpatriotic during the "shop till bin laden drops" christmas season following 9-11™....but the biggest is the Spiritual side...not spiritual in the sense of conventional American ho-hum "truuuuuust aaaaaaaaaaaaaand oooooobey, for theres nooooooooo ooooooooother waaaaaay..." operant conditioned hymn singing do this don't do that jive, but in the real soul searching, looking for answers manner....that is hardly tolerated here...trying to get in touch w/ the real deep meaning is bad bad bad for the "Patriotic American"..don't question, don't try to find out what has meaning...don't do anything other than what we say is allright...

Read up on Howard Zinn....hard working kid, workin' on the docks in new york for 3 years to bring in money to the family when he got the call, went of to fight in WW 2 as a high altitude bomber in Europe...years later, finished w/ a phd on his GI Bill in history and now, he is one of the leaders in telling the true story of why America is what it is...and it is truly disturbing. This guy could do the exact same thing...he is going to see some stuff that will truly disturb him, and make him want to climb mountains so high so that he can meditate and be removed from the horrors that the states have created...not to say this is another dad gum Oliver Stone film in the making, I think it's another McVeigh in the making, only this time, he might just come back and not destroy with violence and terror, but with truth and dignity...

Raytheon and friends should be the ones afraid of guys like this, not bin-lauden
