i read some books about che and i was thinking about some reasons, why is efforts of expanding the revolution to other countries (kongo & bolivia) failured. i just know that in kongo the problem was the laziness of the people there and their imcompetence in fighting. in bolivia che thought that the local people would help him and so on...! do you think fidel was also involved in the fail of his operation in bolivia and whats your opinion to this issue in general.

I'm not sure if you can call it failure at all. He planted seeds of revolutionary awareness whereever he was. Neither the Congo or Bolivian insurrections got off the ground. The congo he attributed mostly due to the language barrier, and Bolivia he was still in the planning and organizing stages when he was captured. Given enough time, things may have turned out very different.

Regarding Fidel, I never buy into that propaganda. It was Fidel who financed the whole operation.
