I did not mention the other places where communists have created revolution, because these seem most important today.

The FARC controls about an area as big as Switzerland, and the number of revolutionaries are most likely between 10-20 000. If I remember correct, the struglge has been lasting for over 40 years, and they have made a deal with the government and now have a ceasefire, so I guess there isn't much hope for us to see them taking over the government. What do you think will be the solution to the problem in Colombia?

Also, I was wondering

Here you can see which areas the Nepalese maoists control:

The US, China, India and several European countries are giving money to the monarchy in the country. The US have a few forces in the country and India has said that it will consider sending troops to the country.
The british defense minister said that the maoists will win, and something drastic needed to happen if this was to be prevented. What do you think will be the end result in Nepal?

Also, you can read about the situation in Nepal here:

I think the Maoists need to make a couple of large strikes soon before foreign aid reaches even higher levels. Are the industrial workers in the city ready for revolution, i think they maybe. The final strikes need to come soon.

Why do you believe strikes are neccesary in order for the Nepalese Maoists to take the last bit of the country?

Strikes are an important part of a revolution, if the workers all decide they will no longer work to produce profits for the capitalists, then capitalism will fail.

Does anyone else have an idea of what is going to happen?
