View Full Version : Revolution Prophesized?

Paradox

Seeing that many people here do not believe in religion, or accept the concept of God, I understand that I will receive criticism for proposing this idea. According to Hopi prophecy, there will be a revolution of global proportions some time in the near future. This uprising will coincide with the third World War. And if one looks at the current political climate and conditions around the world, I think it's safe to say we're on the path to another global conflict. The Hopi prophecy track record so far is perfect. Other events that were predicted in the prophecies, which they received nearly a thousand years ago, include: The arrival of the whites, the destruction of Native culture and traditions, World Wars I and II, the creation of the U.N., and the creation of the atomic bomb. I understand that many people will be skeptical of the accuracy of such predictions, and dismiss them as false. Still, it is something to take into consideration when examining the current conditions we find ourselves in. If anyone here is interested in these prophecies and similar ones from other tribes, there are a couple of books that are worth reading. One is "The Hopi Survival Kit," and the other is "American Indian Prophecies." Let me know what you think of such prophecies in relation to modern events and the future possibility of revolution. I appreciate your opinions. Tlazohcamati ("thank you" in Aztec).

Can you provide any more info. on this? A web link would be good.

I am quite skeptical of things such as prophecy and predictions as it always seems to be announced AFTER the event that there was a prophecy/ prediction that is was going to happen. Most prophecies are usually quite vague as well, for example, Nostradamus' prophecies could mean anything they are that vague and obscure.

I don't know of any websites specific to the Hopi prophecies, just books. The books state that the Hopi received their prophecies about 800 years ago from the Creator. When the Whites came, the Hopi tried to tell them about the prophecies, but the Whites paid no attention. They saw the Indians as "savages." They thought why would God give such prophecies to such pathetic people. They were poor and knew nothing in their opinion. This is of course, hypocritical. Jesus was poor and humble. He did not isolate himself from the poor- he lived with them. So why then is it so unbelievable that God would give such knowledge to the Hopi? Mexica/Aztec predictions coincide with the natural disaster part of the prophecies. According to the Mexica/Aztec, earthquakes will signal the end. And the Maya have a prophecy predicting the end to occur on December 23rd, 2012. They also have the Mayan crystal skulls, which have to do with the end time. And to elaborate a bit more on the Hopi predictions, China is supposed to play a major role in instigating the third World War. And apparently, they play a positive role in the minds of the Indians. This is due to the fact that Asians and Natives see each other as distant relatives. Some Indians have gone to Japan without any prior knowledge of the Japanese language, and found themselves communicating surprisingly well. So, the Chinese are seen with a positive attitude. Hope that helps Eddie999. I'll try to find more information and websites. Whatever I find, I'll make sure to post it here.

This information was at www.crystalinks.com/hopi2.html. I still recommend reading the books, but this gives you an idea of what the books are all about.

- White Feather of the Bear Clan

An ancient Hopi Indian prophecy states, "When the Blue Star Kachina makes its appearance in the heavens, the Fifth World will emerge". This will be the Day of Purification. The Hopi name for the star Sirius is Blue Star Kachina. It will come when the Saquasohuh (Blue Star) Kachina dances in the plaza and removes his mask.

Hopi Prophecy speaks of twin Kachinas - white and blue. Twin - Merging of Self - Twin Pyramids - DNA - Twin Towers falling.

This is the First Sign: We were told of the coming of the white-skinned men, like Pahana, but not living like Pahana -- men who took the land that was not theirs and who struck their enemies with thunder. (Guns)

This is the Second Sign: Our lands will see the coming of spinning wheels filled with voices. (Covered wagons)

This is the Third Sign: A strange beast like a buffalo but with great long horns, will overrun the land in large numbers. (Longhorn cattle)

This is the Fourth Sign: The land will be crossed by snakes of iron. (Railroad tracks)

This is the Fifth Sign: The land shall be criss-crossed by a giant spider's web. (Power and telephone lines)

This is the Sixth Sign: The land shall be criss-crossed with rivers of stone that make pictures in the sun. (Concrete roads and their mirage-producing effects.)

This is the Seventh Sign: You will hear of the sea turning black, and many living things dying because of it. (Oil spills)

This is the Eighth Sign: You will see many youth, who wear their hair long like our people, come and join the tribal nations, to learn our ways and wisdom. (Hippies)

And this is the Ninth and Last Sign: You will hear of a dwelling-place in the heavens, above the earth, that shall fall with a great crash. It will appear as a blue star. Very soon after this, the ceremonies of the Hopi people will cease.

These are the Signs that great destruction is here: The world shall rock to and fro. The white man will battle people in other lands - those who possessed the first light of wisdom. There will be many columns of smoke and fire such as the white man has made in the deserts not far from here. Those who stay and live in the places of the Hopi shall be safe. Then there will be much to rebuild. And soon, very soon afterward, Pahana will return. He shall bring with him the dawn of the Fifth World. He shall plant the seeds of his wisdom in our hearts. Even now the seeds are being planted. These shall smooth the way to the Emergence into the Fifth World.
There is a sandstone cliff, near second mesa on the Hopi Reservation in Arizona. On this cliff is etched a picture of the past, persent, and the future. This site is more commonly known as Hopi Prophecy Rock. The petroglyph depicts the Hopi as emerging from the underground to the surface of the earth. The actual place for this event is a religious site located in the Grand Canyon. The Sioux also say they emerged from underground at a place in the Black Hills known today as Wind Cave.

The story depicted on the prophecy rock continues on by showing how the leading clans of the Hopi migrated in the 4 directions, then turned left---forming a Swastika symbol. The clans that followed migrated in the 4 directions--then turned left---forming reverse Swastika symbol. After journeying in the 4 directions, they were to return to the center. When they reach the center it will be the end of the fourth age.

The Sioux, like the Hopi, traveled in the 4 directions after emerging from the underground. The Sioux also believe that man has evolved through 4 ages, calling them the Age of Fire, Age of Rock, Age of the Bow, and Age of the Pipe. The length of each age is unknown, but the prophecy is that during the time of each age, man would gradually become a "two-heart".

The Hopi Prophecy Rock clearly depicts three "two-heart" individuals. A two-hearted person is one who thinks with his head rather than his heart. This is in reference to the left-brain function of analytical thinking. A person who think with his heart usese the right-brain function of intuitive thinking. Currently modern man is out of balance because we live in a left brained dominated society. We place more emphasis on left-brain modes of thinking vs. right-brain modes of thought.

The Hopi Prophecy Rock shows a junction where the two-hearted people have a choice of choosing to start thinking with their hearts or continue to think with their heads only. If they chose the latter, it will lead to self-destruction; if they chose to think with their hearts they would gradually return to the natural way and their own survival.

On the Hopi Prophecy Rock are 3 circles which represent 3 world-shakings. The story is that people of the Earth would reach a time when they would lose the story of how "we are all related". The Creator would then cause 3 world-shakings to remind the people of our relatedness.

The first world-shaking would be recognized when a bug on ribbon is tossed into the air. This is interpretated as an airplane. The time when airplanes were first used in war was World War I. So World War I would be the first world-shaking.

The second world-shaking would be recognized when man used the Hopi migration symbol (swastika) in war. This was World War II, which is the second world-shaking. The great Oglala Sioux holy man, Nicholas Black Elk, had also foreseen the coming of World War I & II.

The third world-shaking would be recognized by a red cover or cloak.

Could this mean Communist China? Russia?

Sioux Elders tell us that Mother Earth is surrounded by negative energy which is given off by the human brain. One of the reasons for the Sioux Sun Dance is to give thanks to father sun for all he has provided us on Mother earth. By sending good thoughts to the sun, the Sioux could reduce the negative energy.

The Hopi Prophecy story also said that signs of the third-world shaking would be given when:

1. Trees will die. (Acid rain has taken a heavy toll on trees in some areas, but this could also refer to the demise of the rainforest).

2. Man will build a house in the sky. (Space station Mir, or the planned international space station to be built).

3. Cold places will become hot. Hot places will become cold. (Erractic weather patterns and global warming).

4. Lands will sink into the ocean and lands will rise out of the sea.

5. There will be an appearance of the Blue Star Kachina

The constellation of Orion's belt is the area of the sky known to the Sioux as the Heart of the White Buffalo constellation. The White Buffalo legend states that a sacred maiden brought a holy pipe to be used by the Sioux. When she departed she said she would return to help the people when they werer in trouble and turmoil. As she turned to leave she turned into a black buffalo, then a red buffalo, then a yellow buffalo, and finally into a white buffalo. Then she went back up into the clouds.

In August of 1994 a white buffalo was born in Wisconsin. Two more were born in May 1996 in South Dakota. One died but the other lived. Oglala Sioux holy man Dawson No Horse, stated that as we move into the next century, times would be very difficult. Sioux holy man, Black Elk, foresaw the Sacred Hoop of the world's nations coming together soon--- a reference to the thousand years of peace that is to follow the third-world shaking.

MMMMMMMM? Did you read the Bible code? It's about prophesies too, sounds scary too!

Paradox
15th October 2004, 02:22
I've heard about the Bible code, but don't know much about it. Did they make a show about it on the History Channel? I think that's where I saw it. And some other people tried to disprove it by finding similar codes in other books. It seemed pretty interesting. The prophecies of the Natives match up just about perfectly with what the Christians interpret as prophecies in the Bible. So, that means one of three things: 1. The prophecies are all true, and there is a Creator. 2. These prophecies that have been fulfilled are nothing more than mere coincidence. 3. They're not true at all, and they're just made up after the events take place. Personally, I think these Native prophecies are based on fact. From the Hopi to the Mexica/Aztec, to the Lakota, to the Maya, and so on; they're too consistent to be dismissed so easily. But that's just my personal Indigenous belief. Anyway, I'll continue to search for more information on these prophecies, and also the Bible code. It'll be an interesting comparison, and perhaps we can get a good discussion going.

Who cares about facts? The Hopi natives said so! I doubt the authenticity of such voodoo, just allow me to double check it with my dialectics...

I am sorry, but i do not believe in such things. Fristly, despite the fact that i believe in metaphysics to a certain level to which all probably will agree, i think that from the post u made from that site i cannot understand the fourth dign: how did they know IRON? The question sounds kind of stupid in the beggining, i do not believe that people just got the prophecies from their god without investigating what he meant inall situations first. (still the argument might sound not logical at all). Secaondly, many have made prophecies like that, even the bible. Looking at Nostradamus prophecies we may as well say that they coincide with these Hopi people. My opinion does not say that i do not admire those people. (i do and very much actually, but only because of their way of life). I think these prophecies probably come from a certain shaman who might have been in a certain move of trance (i dont know if you know ayahuscha, a drug used by most shamas in anccient years. Tribes from central america and the south are said to use hallucinogens in their everyday life to cure special diseases. In central american tropical forests their were drying up a ceratin type of frog and smoking him, hence, moving in a trance for about three days and creating a religion). This trance is also the one that makes them talk in such a way: metaphorically. I am sorry if i discourage you from sending things, but I would actually like to learn more about these things. In fact it is much better i think to not know much and believe in these things, u are much more relieved i think!!!

If you go to the forum home page and look under Philosophy, it CLEARLY says FAITHS. Therefore, it fits in fine in this forum. If I was PREACHING, in other words, trying to force you to believe this, rather than asking for your opinions, this post would then belong under Opposing Ideologies. But that's not the case.

I checked the prophecies of Nostradamus.....I made a mistake Nostradamus was talking too metaphorically in contrast to the HOpi people. I think there might be somthing going on here. I mean the prophecies of Nostradamus could as well mean lots of things an interpreted in many ways. But i cannot think of many ways in which the above Hopi prophecies can be interpreted, or better no matter what interpretation you give the result might also be the same..... I will be back with new infos. There are many who made lots of prophecies, none of them match by no means the clarity of the Hopis, from what I have seen until now. From Anthropological studies and religious ones, prophecies have never been taken so much into account, but lately there is somthing going on in some University in the US. Never has there been given too much attention to prophecies as now, so I think many of the things the Hopi said might be quite interesting, although i do not believe that much in metaphysical stuff like that.

I will be back with more information if anyone is interested!!!!!

Nostradamus.. hmm... i am not too sure whether he used metaphors, but maybe it is hard for him to describe the things he hasn't seen before?

I recall that he said something about invention of aeroplanes , then he goes, " A bird like object roaring across the sky with fire in its ass" It was something similar to this at least~ ^_^

All these prophecies are just speculations and theories by people who were very vague in how they would say what would happen. This is why so many of them can easily be made into something that makes no sense at all and can mean anything someone wants them to mean.
