Hello everybody...

I'm here to introduce myself for the second time... being that I lost my old pass, and being that I lost my old pass to my old email account :D
no matter what... Mary's on the road again!

I'm from Serbia... Graduated in philosophy... I was always fascinated by marxist ideas... Even in the most dangerous times of my country I was proud to say how RED I am and how much do I believe in noble left-ideas.

As far as I'm concerned, Marx is the greates humanist of modern times... and all the rest, who followed him, follows.

Niltze(Aztec for hello) Proud Mary. I'm Paradox. I just became a member a couple of days ago. I'm writing from El Paso, Texas, out here in the united fakes of amerika. I've never read the communist manifesto, but I read that Marx used to call people he didn't like "jews," or "black jews" if he really didn't like them. I don't know if that is true, but I know he wasn't the first to think up communism. I'm going to community college right now, and Marx is mentioned in my sociology book. He had a big empact on sociology aparently. Anyways, I understand he believed in social change, I just need to read up more on him. Personally, I'm more into Navtive prophecy. I'm Native American if you can't tell. I want to become a doctor and move on to a reservation and help treat my people, who are in bad shape. Anyways, welcome to the group. I look forward to sharing opinions with you and everyone here.

Bueno
Your response is an interesting paradox, Paradox as Marx was Jewish himself, I am Sephardic as well and don't find it to be an insult to be called a Jew. As part Arab Jew I would be proud to be called a Black Jew

But if he used it as an insult perhaps he hated his own race and ideology, yes I know Jews are a cultural group not a race.

I am familar with the Mescalero Apache, I lived in Las Cruces and went to school there, I had many friends who were from that tribe, they let me run with them once it was amazing at UTEP university at night we ran it seemed a mile as the ground rose up to meet us as we ran, running never felt like that before, feel free to PM me.

Have you considered going to the univ in Las Cruces? El Paso's a pit due to the oil refinery, are you getting head aches, heard they found the body of another young woman in Juarez the other day, Las Cruces is much healthier. The border institute is excellent there I think it is begining to rival Austin's and is liberal not conservative.

Good thing we're able to reject the crap that people said and take the good stuff. Marxists don't have to believe every word of Marx, just the stuff that makes sense.

The "Jew" stuff is crap, and, luckily, we can just reject it. We're not into personality cults (well, not the Lib. Marxists, anyway).

Anybody read "On The Jewish Question" by Marx?
I believe there is a clew for understanding his point about Jews.

here's the link:
http://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works...ewish-question/ (http://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1844/jewish-question/)

maybe we can all read it together and then open a new topic for discussion?

University in Las Cruces... nope, never thought of that. I'm originally from Sacramento, CA. My father wants me to go to school there, so I can spend more time with him. I'm thinking about it, but I'm still not sure. So Las Cruces is nice, huh? I've only been there once, and it was just a short stop. I was on a greyhound bus going to visit my father. But that sounds interesting, I'll take it into consideration, thanks Pandora for the information. And that stuff I read about Marx, I wasn't sure of. I just wanted to know if it was based on fact. I'm just after the truth.

Pandora, what does PM mean? I'm new to forums and chatrooms and that kind of stuff.

PM=Personal Message.

Click on the person's username (it should be a link), then, in their profile, there should be another link that says "Click Here" next to "Personal Message".

From there, it's pretty much the same as the forum for writing and whatnot.
