Has anyone else heard about the Bush administration's plan for a pipeline through Afghanistan? I first heard about this in the song "Cause of Death," by Immortal Technique. I read a couple of articles about it on the web that tied Cheney and the Bush admin. to Enron and the Taliban. And the plans started back in the Clinton administration. Plus I read that the interim president of Afghanistan used to be a CIA agent and was on the board of directors for UNOCAL, which was involved in the plans for the pipeline. If anyone knows more about this and where I can get reliable information on the subject, I would greatly appreciate it. Also if you know of any good books on the history of the situation in the Middle East, I'd like to know about those too, thanks.
