Stalin have gave the order to the agents of NKVD (later called KGB) to kill Trotsky.
Trotsky became the real enemy of the new Soviet regime after Lenin's death. He was departed to Turkey and later have moved to Mexico, where he was killed.

Also, I don't see the point of this post. If we are going to "vote" who killed Trotsky, my vote goes to Stalin. If something other is ment by the post, I don't get it.

RH basically answered his own question. And anyway Stalin ordering Trotsky's death is common knowledge.
