Does your camera have a depth of field preview? I suggest you use it.

The bottom one is interesting, my advice is question exactly what you're taking and why. Be choosy about framing it in the viewfinder, see it not as it is but as a painting and whether or not you'd like the painting, then take it once you've decided if it passes.

on the first one remove the head (using photoshop) just before the water in the foreground, it kills it for me
