I concur.

Some nice parts of the interview:

Slate: Some 200,000 civilians were killed in the civil war following the coup, which lasted for the next 40 years. Were all those deaths unforeseen?

Hunt: Deaths? What deaths?

Slate: What was your feeling about Batista?

Hunt: Well, I thought he ran a good government there. There was a lot of corruption, but there's always been corruption in Latin America. We can't be too purist about these things.

Slate: What do you think of Felix Rodriguez campaigning these days against John Kerry, who questioned him at the Iran-Contra hearings?

Hunt: I think that's great! Felix can do no wrong in my book.

Slate: And there were even conspiracy theories about you being in Dallas the day JFK was killed.

Hunt: No comment.

Regrets are, in all honesty, a waste of time. I wouldn't change anything I've ever done, nor should anyone.

What he did is wrong, but I can't blame him for having no regrets.

His regrets wont make anything better, he deserves death, but yeah...he is already sick and having problems to function normally...maybe some horrible pain for a couple of years

I don't care about him because he got his leg amputated as the artilce from Slate says. That's very good for him. Here is another article about him which among other things states:

"I suppose the example that I can best turn to, although I rather hate to, is [that] what we wanted to do was to have a terror campaign: to terrify Arbenz particularly, terrify his troops, much as the German Stuka bombers terrified the population of Holland, Belgium and Poland at the onset of World War II and just rendered everybody paralyzed."

Now compare Howard Hunt to Phil Agee who defected from the CIA or John Stockwell
