Hello, everybody, how's it going? First and foremost, I'd like to congratulate everybody here on how impressed I am. Being a teen raised in a capitolist/democrat household that has interest in politics, I've noticed that American politicians do nothing but assault and accuse. Here on this website, I've seen nothing but the utmost respect for other's opinions. It's interesting to me that the single most respectful political forum is easily one of most ridiculed. That's amazing to me.
What lead me to start peering into the leftist world? I guess I'll tell you my story. I love my father dearly, he is easily one of the most intelligent, caring, compassionate, respectful, and hardworking people I have known. I have never even seen him become angry or rude. Now I see him struggling to keep up in a failing economy. Both my mother and my father work, and while they never say anything, I can tell they squeeze every penny harder as the days go by. When I go to school, I see nothing but rank after rank of the over privilaged. I see them wearing clothing that is worth what could feed my family for two weeks. Then I meet these people's parents, and I see how rediculously stupid some of them can be. The worst part is, I see them sitting at home watching Fox New's and criticizing anyone who questions the government (it's not like the constitution was written that way or anything) on top of a fortune that my hard working parents could use for things far better than Plasma Screen #6. Then I realize that capitolism rewards the exact opposite of moral behavior. You are rewarded for stepping on others to achieve your goals. That just pisses me off.
Any words of wisdom that you guys can share would be very much appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
