Hello there. I kinda joined on a whim. My political pursuasions are not too solid at this point, and I'm trying to learn as much as I can about Marxism and Communism.
This year I just gave up entirely on the U.S's two party system, as it has brought all of us nothing but grief (Used to be a liberal democrat but have recently come to the conclusion that democrats are total idiots). I mean, Bush and Kerry? The Egotist and the Spin Doctor? We've really gone too far downhill. My grandfather is a "card-carrying" communist, and thus, I have always been very interested in this.
Anyway, I'm doing my reading (Manifesto and Motorcycle Diaries) and will post any questions that I will have. This seems like a nice community to just be open. You can all just call me Frida (yes, after the artist).
By the by, I saw "The Motorcycle Diaries" movie. I really, truly loved it. The movie portrayed Che realistically, as just a simple young man with big ideas and hopes for his homeland.
