He said the "I&#39;m worth more alive than dead" thing when he was first captured, not when they came ot kill him after he was captured.

that was when they were captured in del yuro, i would of said that chirst, im only human.
Maybe he had some plan to live longer and be rescued who knows
but when he was exectued he reportively said shoot corward, your only going to kill a man

No but they say that these were his last words, not his words when he just got captured.

Apparently the man who killed Guevara still lives somewhere and tells his story in a bar only if you give him money. I only read this out of the book "Che Guevara: A Revolutionary Life." And I guess he is still on the run from people who want to kill him ever since he executed Guevara.

You mean Mario Teran? They wanted to interview him in the documentary Sacrificio...but he asked like 10.000 (or was it 100.000) dollars to get interviewed...without camera, but yah he was going to write a book or something :rolleyes:

Thats the name now that I remember. What a scoundrel I say. Because I bet he took something of Guevara&#39;s along with the others after the execution. Just to share a brief history from his side for money is degrading. Maybe he wants to get away with money so he doesn&#39;t get hunted down. All those people who participated in Che&#39;s death have either been assassinated or are on the run still.
