Anyways Morrissey isn't a racist, the NME editor who wrote the article also said "maybe his racism is just a fag thing?" And just a few years later it's OK for Oasia, Blur etc to use Union Jacks but because one homo-sexual does it, a homo-phobiac editor suddenly make Morrissey into some kind of Racist Skin.

It wasn't just the flag waving that got Morrissety labelled a racist. For a start he was supporting Madness whose lead singer Suggs has links with the right. Then there was his back drop of skinheads while singing National Front Disco.

In the "Greatest 150 rock lists of all time" magazine they ahd awhole section for "10 people morrisey slagged off in a song". One of whom was asians but I read teh extract and it wasn't exactly clear he was being racist. It all seems a bit over reacting saying he's a racist...he may be right wing (which I kinda doubt) but I really doubt extremely he's racist.
