who are anti-globalizationists? - what do they do?

i always hear the news of demonstrations all over the world (especially europe)held by anti-globalizationists.i've read about them & know a little aboat their ideas, but i wonna know more .please tell me about them and introduce some related websites.

Personaly I dont like that term, and I think it isnt true. Most of the people who belong to these groups are for globalization, but they are against globalization from whom will benfit only small group of rich nations and international companys, and against globalization that will establish supremacy of western( American) culture.
There are many communists in these groups, and communism is great cosmopolitan ideology in comparison to nationalistic imperialism, who today is for " globalization". So in some way by saying "anti-globalization" imperialists want to say that these people are backwards, and against of flow of history. Globalization will happen, but I hope it will happen in our way.

All anarchists/communists/socialists would be for globalisation but not one that seeks to create a complete capitalist society. I think capitalist globalisation is just a front for Manifest Destiny and Americanisation of the world.

I am an anti-globalist and wrote two essay about it.
Firstly, Globalisation affect three areas which are Cultural, social and economical.
Globalisation is a sweet name for Imperialism and Americanism. Amerinacism affect our Cultures. For Example, youth of my country guess that they are hollywood stars or hip-hop stars. Our language is degenerated by american words. "Cool, Dude, YES, handicup or else". And someone has an american (cowboy) hat and t-shirt which has american flag on it.
Our national market demolished. All products except somes come from U.S. . It is another game of Globalisation. Our Life-standard is ecreasing in every day. Because America exploits countries with so-called Globalisation.
And our elite class (don't understand wrong. Scientists, students, educated people....) immigrates to U.S. or others capitalists (Germany, France).
Globalisation say that "don't be patriot or hero. Rescue yourself! Don't care your country." I will be a slave of America if i think like that.
After Globalisation, Foreign Powers will take our strategical resources and we will be dog of foreigners.

I'm very happy that I found my opinion about this problem asame as yours.
fortunately globalization (in better way : americanizatio) is not too deep in Iran.because there are many people with strong anti-american emotion yet(since our revolutoin).&
nor people niether government don't let their culture &
economy become american.so ,there is no reason to do anti-globalizational actions in Iran .
but I'm looking for a way to fight against this long word problem(!!)as a newest form of colonism & imperialism .
