[COLOR=red][SIZE=7]Hi comrades !!
I don't see many Asians on this site, and I'm just curious to know
if there are any fellow Orientals out here !?
I guess it's only obvious, that there's a great deal of difference
between choosing to fight Capitalism in the West, and in the East.
With all due respect, our "West"-ern comrades can take a lot of
things (like the internet, or even liberal tolerance for crying out loud)
for granted. as far as experience showed me,
while WE in the East, just can't !!
That' s also one of the main reason for me to try to know you all,
fellow Asians comrades !! Our march is a rougher one, but we'd
stand a better chance walking together, don't we??
I'll start by introducing myself now.
Hopefuly, there'll be a throng of fellow Asian
comrades to get to know afterwards... :ph34r: :ph34r: :ph34r:
Name : Andy
Occupation: Journalist
Age: 30
Country of Origin: Indonesia
Ethnicity(ies): Javanese and Sundanese
Religion: Islam
Favourites: Books (Pramoedya Ananta Toer; Anton Chekov; etc);
Movies (1984; The Street Lawyer; F911 etc); Music (Marley; U2; Yes etc)
Political inclinations: I don't like labellings, because for me this world
doesn't need any more narrow minded catagorizations and generalizations ...
I believe in the importance of upholding social justice; equality before the law;
vast public participation, to make sure that all economic and political powers can be democratically controlled and be made accountable for !! Maximum results are day dreamings, and for me only optimum results are viable and realistic.
