one of the many bookshelves. titles include upton sinclair's "oh shepherd speak", "jungle", and "world's end". as well as the labor revolution, the industrial revolution, sexism and science, socialism and ethics, a tale of two cities, the case of the legless veteran, the high school revolutionaries, and a clockwork orange.

They're not that boring, the newspaper snippets seemed quite interesting, is she a political woman?

I wish more older people were leftist...most of them seem to be pretty right wing.
Nice pictures, though.

^Yea, not many old leftists, and those that are leftists are mainly Stalinists. I mean those that only like it for the *Good old days*, or enjoy the prospect of a tyrannical dictator...

I disagree that old people are right-wing. Most of the meetings that I turn up to seem to have lots of old people. I think maybe 'cause they have nothing better to do (like me) but still.
Also I really like that book case. Do you think you grandmother might part with it? (And the books on it?)

Some cool stuff.
But...
Where is a pic of your grandma? When I first saw this thread, I thought it was going to be pics of your grandma.
This thread isn't as weird as I thought it would be I guess.

my grandma was somewhere in LA at the time of all this. we stopped at her house for a break and to switch cars because mine had a piece falling off of it and i'd rather brave the moutainous roads of upstate new york in a tight VW jetta than a rattling honda accord. not to mention hers was stick shift and mine is automatic meaning we'd save gas and i'd feel like more of a badass while driving.

Those are some great pics. I wish my grandma was as political as yours.
