Does anyone think that the "Question of Palestine" will ever be solved? Or is just another long lost cause

I fully support the palestinian cause. However I feel that terrorist/freedom fighting methods are doomed to failure. Political means are the solution. Arafat must try to distance himself from terrorism. I live in Ireland and while people support the IRA's fight deep down they know it is a futile effort. Israel's policy of assasination is far more harmful to the palestinian process than HAMAS. The more militants it kills the more youths attack their soldiers with rocks and bottles. This "Hydra effect" will ultimately see the region spin into another spiral of Irsrali invasion. The answer is not the romantised notion of freedom fighting but through, sadly slow, political means.

a slow political peace process has already took place in the past, but it was tragically stopped by the assassination of the israeli prime minister Yitzhak Rabin RIP. this process can be resumed, but now, it can be backed up by arab nations according to the saudi initiative.
