I'm going to be at this thing helping out anyway, but they sent me the following email anyway.

Dear Friends,

I am hoping that you will consider attending this Saturdayıs Democratic
Rally, as described below. Whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, this
event might interest you if:

1 * you want to learn more about the issues of the current election
campaigns.

2 * you are looking for a fun and free event to share with your family.

3 * you like good local music, including The Remedy.

4 * you want to be part of all the hubbub if (and the possibility here is
really low but itıs still a possibility!) VP candidate John Edwards comes to
the Rally.

Please pass the word on to others!!! And donıt forget to watch the first
Presidential Debate this Thursday.

As well as this email.

Greetings Fellow Democrats!

Join the political rally, Families for a Stronger America, next Saturday,
October 2nd. The rally will be held at the Garrett County Fairgrounds in
McHenry from Noon 'til 5:00pm. We will have the 4-H Barn which is sheltered, so the rally will be held rain or shine. Please bring your family, friends, and
neighbors to this event. Let's show Garrett County our spirited support for
the Democratic platform and our Presidential candidate, John Kerry and his
running mate, John Edwards.

Admission is free. There will be pony rides, face painting, and games for
the children. Live music will be performed by several local musical groups
including: The Remedy, Richard Hill, and Allegany. Guest speakers from
across the state as well as West Virginia will take the stage to discuss
issues including Veteran Affairs, Education, and Healthcare. The Garrett
County Democratic Club will be sponsoring a bake sale and food will be
available for sale including hot dogs, chili dogs, kielbasa with peppers and
onions, taco salad, crab cakes from the Point View Inn, and ice cream from
the Creamery. Contributions will be accepted for the Kerry/Edwards
campaign.

Don't miss the fun and excitement! Be there!

Jan Hodes
Secretary, GCDC

Some of the guest speakers there will include Lanny Davis, a former special counsel to Pres. Clinton and Maryland Dem. comitteeman of the Dem. National Comittee; Dan Rupi, central and west Maryland rep for Kerry/Edwards campaign; Veterans for Kerry; as well as a bunch of other people.
If you live in Maryland, northern Virginia, northeast West Virginia, southwest Pennsylvania or anywhere else and don't mind driving a little, let me know if you would like to go or need directions.

This is really a big deal for my community as all of the local gov't (the state governor too)is comprised of republicans who have not looked kindly on political parties for a very long time.

Real site, real organization (more for a joke than a serious movement, I reccommend watching their movie of the revolution in New York!)

I'm aware of that site, and my comment was a joke in referrence to that very site. I obviously don't advocate a communsit movement in favor of John Kerry. Those repiblicans are complete shit-faces.
