I'm taking a class right now that deals with theories on who controls power in the world. We just got done studying the Illuminati. Basically, they were a group of social elites that got together in Prussia some 200 years ago. There purpose, while not exactly known was to get together in order to consolidate power and make worldwide policy.

Their symbol is a pyramid, with an illuminated eye at the top. This symbol can be found on the back of a dollar bill because many of the founding fathers of this country were members of the illuminati back in Europe.

The significance of the pyramid is that it symbolizes the social constructs of society. They belive that society is constructed into three groups. The masses, at the bottom, a middle class, which has some power and their class, at the top, which makes the policies that dictate the other two classes.

thiers probaly some truth behind the conspiracy, well at least some of the illuminati conspiracy's(ive read some shit online about them trying to let daemons into this dimension and some about ufo's and shit) i wouldnt doubt for a second that their is some elite group of old white men running the world, but rather i would guess they would be the leaders of the G8 nations and the IMF or groups like this. but on the Illuminati as an 200 year old entity i dont know at all.
