No matter what you do there will always be some one who hates Capitalism, Same with Communism. So no matter which one of these Governments/ Economic systems is in place there will always be someone who hates it.
So Is it possible to get the best of both worlds? Can you have a free market and yet still push towards Socialism?
Yes, yes you can! its called a middle government, one that allows a free market and pushes towards socialist reforms. When pushing both systems you will ensure that you keep the most people happy at any one time.
Further, by giving the government the power to interfere in business at certain times. To say pull it out of downfall or give it a small boost in hard times. An of course break up monopolys, your be ensuring that the economy survives through thick and thin (Fascism). Of course you have to allow voting for such situations, as government business intervention to ensure the government doesnt get out of hand.
By having a government that pushes Socialist reforms for people. Youre be satisfying many socialist (many more then you would be in say America).
Who could forget the ever effective government propaganda! Propaganda is very effective in brining people onto the steady Eddie side of life. This is a must, There must be government run business from time to time. Such as government run educational channels. If you live in America you are probably aware of how effective channels such as "the history channel" are in educating the masses. The government under this system would start a Math, Science an English channel. If these channels started to turn a profit they would then be sold over to private business. Who will care for them more then the government (after all they have something to lose now).
Political offices,
To ensure the government remains pretty much the same over a long period of time certain measures would have to be taken.
The main one is this. The only people who would be allowed to run for political office would be those who have served in the military, orpassed the government ideology training program /government employee (all government employees will have passed the ideology training program). The purpose of this is simple. By having a group of people who for the most part think the same and act the same the government will mostly remain the same.
Voting. Only those who have Gone through the government ideology course or served in the military will be allowed to vote. Same reason only those have done the same are allowed to run for political office.
Soldiers. Soldiers throughout the history of war-fair have always been on the slippery slope. A soldier will never be held responsible for simply following orders. The higher ups on the rank will be the ones dragged out. The main point stressed by the military will simply be follow all orders.
More Emphases will be put on the soldier then has ever been done. With his/her importance in society stressed along with the honor of the job.
Men an women Along with Homosexuals of all types will be allowed to serve. If the military is to play an important roll in society it stands to reason that it has to be offered to everyone.
People born severely mentally handy-cap will be destroyed upon birth, as they are incapable of being used for anything. Society will gradually learn to except this as we are learning to accept putting animals to sleep. People who become mentally retarded latter on in life will be spared. As they were once working members of society.
There will be no hate in this new society. The government will use its power of propaganda to see that such hatred is crushed. Every one will be accepted, any creed, any race, any gender.
