Yes there has been a steady increased in popularity of far-right parties recently. But don't forget the Socialist Alliance did very well in the local elections not just the BNP. Basically right wingers have two things on their sides at the moment one is moeny and the other is imigration, Europes economy has slowed down a bit recently, less money, less jobs so people become more protective of whats theirs. They do not want imigrants coming into their country increasing taxes and stealing their jobs. Although to be honest these people have nothing to fear as they live in a rich European country and will still be living in much better conditions than anywhere else.

My friend comunism is dead in europe! at least in Portugal!! the comunist party in portugal is devasteded! I see litle hope foe the leftists and great benefits for capitalism! the new world order is becoming to take shape! an afghanistan is the live proof of that! america is begining to rule the world, and europe is just another capitalist ally (slave is the better word) for America´s coups!!!

During "hard times" people naturally turn to people who act like they have all the answers. Le Pen blamed crime, unemployment and the French economy's slowdown on foreigners and EU bureacrats. He was able to convince people that the french goverment was somehow anti-france. The right wins seats in elections by playing on fears. They are spreading not because people genuinely beleive in them but because they're just more charismatic than the left. The left is viewed as filthy commies who are just whingey students desperately seeking a free ride thru life. This preseption is one which needs to be combated soon or the left will lose another generation of voters.

yes europe is going right.example, yesterday the british president announced that the immigration problem has to be dealt with in a radical way, close borders and stuff, wich is a rightwing statement and he is labour, sosialist.he does this to take points away from the upcoming rightists in europe.in holland they were to late with doing things like he does, and the rightists just won the elections.in france the final round went between right and extreme right, belgium has a facist problem, and so on.

Also in Norway, after years of Workers Party government, now central-right coalition is on power with increased number of seats for so called Progressive Party that is actually fascist party with the main goal of isolating Norway and not letting foreigners in. How we can fight Europe’s move to right?

I have no idea. It's quite disturbing. I mean in the uk the labour party who were of course left are now central ( and some would say central-right!)

don't worry, keep saying what is right and the people will listen.fake rightist thinking will expose itself and if not,you must.but untill then, yea I worry too.the new dutch gouv. is closing the borders for immigration, and changing health care into a thing that not everybody can affort.and they are still talking ,what will be next?
