For my coming presentation I have to compare and contrast the 2 ideologies. This is the easy bit.

However, I also have to explain " which perspective do you feel best explains how the international economy works? Why?"

For sure, we are at the nascent of capitalist globalization, it would seem that liberal economics best explains how the international economy works in the contemporary era.

But do i have to agree in such a way?

Actually at the international level is the only place where neo-Marxism really explains anything.

Show how capital is accumulating to the rich industrial countries and wages are continually falling in the third world, it shouldn't be hard if you find a few good journal articles from the neo-Marxian perspective.
