Johnny Ramone

LOS ANGELES - Johnny Ramone, guitarist and co-founder of the seminal punk band The Ramones, has died. He was 55.

Ramone died in his sleep Wednesday at his Los Angeles home surrounded by friends and family, his publicist said. He had battled prostate cancer for five years, and was hospitalized in June at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

I never thought I'd say this but The Offspring were great on that album, all the songs sung by girls sucked as did the song by metallica and the song by u2. The standouts were The Offspring, Pete Yorn and Tom Waits oh yeah I remember Rancid doing a song that was good maybe Sheena is a Punk Rocker? Anyway what's not rock and roll about cancer it could be induced by smoking or many other lifestyle related things which tie into being rock. Actuall amend that to who gives a fuck.

The Ramones made great music it's all that matters.

Seriously, for mo it doesn't matter at all what his own, political opnion is. The Ramones is one of the greatest bands of all time, no matter what Johnny did vote.

Couldn't agree more it doesn't matter how the fuck he voted or died just what he did when he was living. He made great music let's just appreciate it can we?
