Where do you think the next Communist or Socialist Revolution is going to take place?

The birthplace of Che himself, Argentina.

I agree as well. I think that the Argentine people are tired of their corrupt government and the neoliberalist turning of the once socialist Peronista party. I think a socialist will be elected in the next presidential election and the people will enjoy prosperity, as well as much opposition from the IMF and the USA, once that happens.
I also think that another revolution is possible in Nicaragua where the people are already getting tired of their corrupt neoliberalist gov't.

not in columbia, FARC is really fucking it up there. They need to realize two things: that you need the people to help fight this with you, not just 50% or however many they have, but an enormous majority. Second is that they shouldn't use their extremist ways to get what they want.
There was an article at CommonDreams about how they were anticipating a US intervention and that they were ready for it. It sounded to me as if they want the US to come in.

I'd heard that the Socialists in Brazil stood a good chance of being elected, and that Wall Street was already trying to mess up the Brazilian economy. How much truth is in that,I don't know.Anyone know any more?

It just has to start somewhere in Latin America.
For example: Mexico or Argentina.
But I wouldn't say that the present situation in those countries can be called revolutionary. Mexico and Argentina stand just more closer to revolutionary situation, than any other countries of Soutn America.
Considering the external factor, it is possible to say that if revolution start in Mexico it would fail, because of US involvement.
Revolutoin in Argentina more likely will be victorious.
LATIN AMERICA NEEDS NEW REVOLUTION!

Nicaragua is far from being Communist anymore. The Marxist Sandinistas took over Nicaragua in 1979 after the Dictatorship Dynasty of the Somoza's. Daniel Ortega was voted president in 1984, I think, but lost in 1990, 96, and 2001. Ever since 1990 Nicaragua has been going through neoliberalist policies with the free-market, instead of reforms for the poor, as the major priority.
