Most people can only think of Ernesto Guevara when there is talk of the revolution in Bolivia. Here I will give some facts about some of the other persons. It's just a little of what they accomplished, but I still think it's a start.

Nice post Comradestrwberry!

In the course of history, it is evident, that the real "heroes" of conquests, rebellions, invasions, insurgences, revolutions, forays, revolts, mutinies, counter-attacks, assaults, overthrowings, encompassments etc; are rarely mentioned as a whole, and seldom mentioned individually; for reasons apparent, at times; and for reasons of historical neglectfulness -- which can be attributed to historians, in most case.

It would seem, that the "leaders" and "commanders" of armies, guerilla insurgents, etc, are hoisted, to "celebrity status", and are, evidently the figures of a global idee fixe.

Good to see, some identification and acknowledgment, going to a feeble amount of fallen "warriors".

Thank you. You have a good point. It's almost always the leaders that are thought of, not the people who are doing the actual fighting, or work. Stalin did not save Russia. The ordinary soldiers did. Ernesto fought, but the others did just as much hard work as him, and these people have not received the respect they deserve.

There were, as far as I know, peruvians, argentinians, and brazilians that fought in Bolivia too. We should get some information on the rest of them, and perhaps make this a sticky?
