Three years ago today America was the victim of what they called "the wordt tragedy in history". I agree, it was a tragedy, but not the worst. There were much worse tragedies. D-Day. The Holocaust. Loads of Terrorism in Palestine. Plus loads more.
But anyway, RIP those victims of this. No-one deserves to be a victim.

I thought you acccidentally misspelt 32 years ago and was referring to the Munich olympics tragedy...
But any Marxist death weakens us, I agree.

I'm surprised. I haven't seen or heard anyone talking about what happened on 9/11. I think that's saying something about this country. Perhaps people are pre-occupied by other tragedies, namely the school massacre in Beslan, Russia and the problems with Iraq. Seems like America is forgetting. Idk. just my opinion. maybe there is alot of public observance for the victims and i'm just missing it.

"the "worst" tragedy in history". --Spelling corrected.
I haven't heard that before, but it doesn't surprise me at all.
The American ruling class, media and perhaps even the "general public" -- do like to place great emphasis on themselves; or perhaps history only truly began with the "formation" of America.

Yes lets remember what happened in Chile but suffice to say the events of three years ago were probably worse.

How many did Pinochet kill, 60 - 100 thousand. Which is worse?

Theres a lot of threads about 9/11. But the fact is compared to the atrocities committed in Iraq and accross the globe by America, it pales significantly.

Although I completely condemn the September 11 massacre (I fail to see how it was a 'tragedy'), let's remember it doesn't compare to most state terrorist attacks.
The attack on Chile had farther reaching consequences and just 20 days before 9/11 The US was bombing Iraq! ;)
Tens of thousands of Iraqis have died already, let's focus on that.
