What do you guys think about Deniz Gezmis

He was like the, Che Guevara of Turkey (u know the country)

Unfortunatly he was hanged at the age of 25 :(

Yes im turkish (I am a Zaza :)) but im not FROM Turkey, i live in belgium acutally :) but go there every year

The political situation in Turkey has been improved ALOT these last years (due to turkey trying to get into the EU)

I am from the South-East part, where the majority of the people isnt as religious as the left, we are still muslims but we are called "Alevi&#39;s", there also live alot of Kurds in the south-east part.

That was actually also one of the big reasons Denis Gezmis was wanted that badly; because he was trying to start a revolution with mostly Alevis (back then the governments #1 enemy, now there is still some hate for alevi&#39;s at some Turkish people).

Deniz Gezmis, wanted to change turkey from the opressed nation, to a better place, if you read his book you can see that he studies Che alot and wanted to do to Turkey what Che did with Cuba.
