Genius absolute genius, I haven't enjoyed reading this much since I first read Ginsberg. What does everybody else think? Lord Henry what a great mind and they're all great characters.

i started reading it a while ago but then i lost my copy. actually, i was in this bookstore in nyc called strands last week and i was reading this book called the real trial of oscar wilde where they prosecuted him for relations with the duke's (?) son bosie douglas (?) and the prosecutor was trying to make connections between the picture of dorian grey and the trial to implicate that oscar wilde was homosexual. i wanted to buy it but i didn't have 30 dollars to spare. nonetheless, i suggest you read it. poor oscar wilde maintained such poise under pressure. immensely worthy of respect.

I got the complete works from a charity shop for a quid. It is definately Wilde writing as only he can, an the themes that run throughout are great. It is a pleasant read and you can find more if you look.

Brilliant book, the constant references to flowers is abit disgusting... but important though. The book is written so well, and the concept is incredible.
Lord Henry is excellently presented and well executed.
