"Ich bin ein Berliner".....

That was said by Kennedy in a mix-up moment. It means "I am a donut". He thought it mean "I am a Berliner" as in one from Berlin.

Are you really German?

And also, why don't you all stop worrying about buying stupid t-shirts with Che and his sayings on and just start reading real books and stop buying Che t-shirts from these dirty capitalist companies online.

STFU, ziggy. :P

Che shirts are sold by street vendors every fucking place you go. That's where I bought mine. And I don't think I was sponsoring some capitalist conglomerate when I did so.

I like Cthenthar's idea.

all ready got a fresh steaming cup of it in front of me RZ. it tastes really good, do you want some?

ok, so you buy it from a street vendor, but still who do you think made that shirt. who did he/she buy it from? unless they are making it themselves you are still somehow still sponsoring some capitalist conglomerate.

A steaming fresh cup of what? I have no idea what you're talking about....

And it's very possible that the street vendor bought the shirts in bulk and printed Che on it himself. If he bought them already made, I'm sure whoever made it isn't a major capitalist conglomerate. Like I said elsewhere, you can't completely boycott capitalism. It's near impossible. And you have to wear clothes, so I don't see the harm in having a picture of che on it.

a steaming fresh cup of STFU. actually if you only wear handmedowns and thrift store clothing you can come closest to it. yes i know i cant boycott capitalism, but i can try ::tries but looses horribly::

what iīm donig against capitalsim for my own is buying shoes clothes and other stuff in a secondhand-store on a flea market (peddlars market? donīt know wether itīs the same. these both thing told my my online-translator) or in a third-world-store (donīt know wether there is something like this in GB. they sell things like chocolate [ =) ] coffee, paper and other stuff. not very cheap but you can be sure that itīs fair trade) for example last week i bough me shoes which normaly would cost about 100€ and i got them for 3,50€. or a really nice warm pullover for 2,50€. i donīt support the capitalism and get nice cheap things that perhaps not evryone wears...

Ohhh the naiivety.

The "CheStore" utilises PayPal. A big Internet capitalist company. Also, whenever most you purchase things of there, it is by credit card. Use of credit cards is the most direct form of funding massive capitalist companies. Those of you who use the cash facility are excused from that one of course.

It's homepage is also advertising LinkExchange, "stock loans for the small investor". How very Communist.

The links provided for Che t-shirts are to sites such as bobdonutandbird. Hardly left-wing.

The very essence of buying anything online is usually supporting major capitalist companies. I realise for some things e.g cd's, books, there isn't much option online. But buy them in stores and at least you won't be contributing to the big internet companies like PayPal and other payment companies as well as using credit cards.

Personally the only thing I've ever got online is tea and sugar from my native Mauritius. I would suggest any of you buying stuff online do not buy from big companies or via big companies and also do not use credit cards. Although I'd imagine most of the people on this site don't own credit cards due to their political views. Let's hope so.

My favourite was this one:
"Do it the Che way!"

And I've got one too:
The united people will never be defeated!

flea market

We say this in Hungarian the same way! :D

ok, so you buy it from a street vendor, but still who do you think made that shirt. who did he/she buy it from? unless they are making it themselves you are still somehow still sponsoring some capitalist conglomerate.

All these t-shirts are made in the 3rd world. In China, Indonesia or somewhere else. I think they only produce these products and then sell it to multiple companies, so they don't work for a specific one. This way the Chinese smuggler who takes the t-shirts to the streets sonsors exploitation the same way as a conglomerate does!

You are justifying buying them because they are made in "third world" countries???

That must be one of the most confused posts I've ever heard. "Oh, they're made by 8 year old kids working for a penny a week, so it's fine"

I wish you lot would stop masturbating over your t-shirt slogans. It really does trivialise Che Guevara, his beliefs and the left wing ideal as a whole.
