Is Global Capitalism a soft-sell of narcissism: Ubermensch yes Nietzche was wrong, Marx was right.

Begining in the 80's with the code-words "Me-Generation" we have seen a drive of hyper-capitalism in the last 20 some odd years. Ethics seemingly lost by the masses have been replaced with techno-candy at a very high expense of real wealth and quality of life.

Was this sell based on the concept of ego-centric individualism? Something which in truth seems entirely pointless. What's the point of having flashy things if nobody cares? Somehow it seems advertising has imparted an idea of being "together" or "with-it" by having access to technology, is this real or imagined? Can the individual make "it" if anything without community?

In investigating this topic it seems the truth lies in ubermensch, the idea of the individual over all who can defy all rule and laws. This is the cornerstone of the enterpreneur arguement. That any rule that limits the ubermensch be he Donald Trump or Paris Hilton is profane and must be avoided at all costs.

It seems the secret behind breaking our own addiction to global capitalism is to expose the facade. Why are we so afraid of failure? Is it because now that we have isolated ourselves we have no one to help us in poverty now that the social systems have been strewn apart?

Why do the rich and those who wish to be like them world over so worship the flashy image of the individual in silk suit with a fancy watch, does this individual not have to die, eat, sleep, use things made by others, shit, is this person even speak well with others, are they kind. Why would anyone want to be like that. What does it mean to get a "life" Does it mean forgetting one's community and all who were kind to one.

Why are we so frightened to be exposed as small and weak parts of a whole that is community, that no matter who were are we are a small part of social groups, that we walk on sidewalks made by others, and eat food usually grown and sometimes prepared by others.

What's wrong with accepting the gift of that and being grateful? Is that really what we so fear thanking someone else for our successes and what they help us achieve. Is acheiving anything other than our needs even necessary? Or is it just to leave some sort of chalk mark on this world for after we depart?

In the case of NeoLiberalism: Is it possible that some are intent to destroy the planet to see if they can without it destroying us first? All of this relates to ego, I'm tired of pretending I"m smart, or anything, for it doesn't really matter a hill of beans does it?
