3 Times As Many Protestors Arrested Than

In New York City during the RNC (Repugnant Nazi Carnival) over 1800 protestors
have been arrested. During liberal times the 1968 Democratic convention where
people were rioting only 600 protestors were arrested. In 2004 under Fascism
three times as many protestors were arrest for simply peacefully assembling and
marching.

That and the New York Police are ridiclious and arrest to many people for pretty much nothing when they do not have the proper facilities to hold them.

That and I mean you see film from 68' and it looks like everyone is going crazy and all that jazz, but when a thousand more people get arrested it hardly makes the news and that tells me two things. That either the police get arrest happy or the demonstraters were not violent enough to make the news. becuase let's face it, the media would love to show these crazy kids breaking windows and shit, calling them anarchists and diffrent names, but when they are non violent and only are doing "die ins" or something like laying down in the street that's not gonna make the news, and it didn't.

Aren't those lovely chaps from the New York Police holding prisoners in a disused pier illegally? They certainly do seem to be very 'arrest happy.'
On the subject of the lack of violence in a way I am dissapointed about that. That convention is the perfect way of showing the world what you really think of Bush, not just that you don&#39;t like him, America needs to see that people hate him with such hatred that they are prepared to do anything to get rid of him. Though on second thoughts, that would just get people to vote &#39;Democrat,&#39; which I certainly don&#39;t want. Revolution is the only answer&#33; <--not to be taken seriously.
