anyone saw it, please pop your views.

Plot: A young communist in cuba met a homosexual. In the whole process, the homsexual declares he loves his country, but his country isn't treating him well. After lots of discussions , the young communist, once detrmined to get rid of him or to find faults to bring him to the jail, became friends with this homoseuxal guy.

My comment: Political , yet sentimentally sweet.

sounds quite good, is it made by Cubans or just set in Cuba?

made by Cubans & set in Cuba.
If I remember correctly, it won 8 awards or something in the Havana Film's festival.

The film is 10 years old, it should be avaliable in libraries I guess. Try search "Strawberry and chocolate" instead if "Fresa y chocolate" doesn"t appear in the catalogue. ;)

If the tape is produced by
[England] "Tartan Video" (c 1993),
then it sure should have English subtitles. ^_^
