Which social revolution has been your favorite in the history of mankind? How about the artistic revolution of the Sandinistas in 1978 Nicaragua, with all it's poems and beautiful murals? Or the French peasant Revolution? Maybe the Bolshevik's Russian Revolution? The democratic revolution of Chile's Dr. Salvador Allende Gossens? And much, much more. State your favorite and why!

There were the Greek revolutions that overthrew kings and installed democracies. Greek society was still bad in many ways (women weren't equal, some people had slaves), but I doubt we'd have so many great Greek thinkers if it weren't for those revolutions. I also can't get enough of the Free Republic of Franklin. Franklin was one of the best Founding Fathers . . . one of the few who I actually like.

RGacky3,
You're right, it even existed in the Inca and Aztec civilizations in the Americas.
My favorite revolutions would have to be the French Revolution, the Sandinista revolution in Nicaragua, and Puerto Rico's unsuccessful Jayuya Nationalist Insurrection in 1952.

1917 Russian socialist Revolution.
It served as a good example to the proletariat of the whole world. Also many revolutionists have learned on the experience of the Russian revolution.
