Rally to end the lies!

Three years after the truth was thrown overboard at the last federal election, now is the time to say end the lies and to start a new path to a better country and a more peaceful world.

People will gather in every capital city and many regional centres the week before the election.

On Sunday October 3 join hundreds of thousands of other Australians in seeking to end the lies.

Brisbane: 'Time for a change' rally, 1pm, Roma St Forum 0418 715 803
Canberra: Noon, Garema Place, Civic 0438 624 744

Did you forget your password chebol?

You guys are damn lucky to have a concert... :(

I reckon the best the Hobart march could do is get Bob Brown to come along.

I don't mean to sound rude chebol, but are you running for the election or something (just from the committed posts about SA stuff - not that it's bad)?

No, I didn't forget my password- just posted before signing in.

We are kind of lucky to get a concert- but remember, that means more work for the likes of me. Bob had told me that he was either doing Hobart or Sydney- it all depended upon the Senate campaign, so I guess that the extra Tassie senator is the main focus (along with NSW).

Speaking of which, no, I am not running for election (at least not this time round). If I was, I wouldn't be wasting my time at this particular website- I'd be out on the streets pretty much 24/7.
As it happens, tho', I am helping run the Sydney election campaign, so I do have an interest in getting info out (which I would do anyway- Socialist Alliance, as far as I'm concerned, constitutes the best REAL left alternative in Australia in decades. Probably the closest in recent history is the NDP, but with the current rise of the Greens, the overall potential of "The Left" (all inclusive) in Oz is increasing manifold.

I went to the Sydney one, it was good, except I think the strange lady trying to be funny by standing in her underpants was lame.

Hobart was crappy. Not more then a few hundred people. Bob didn't turn up (that I saw). And the music wasn't great.

But Greenpeace came!

How was the concert Ian? Was Powderfinger good?

Anyone see Bob Brown at their rally?

I left before anyone really played, went to get lunch, but I saw that Friedman tosser from the Whitlams and Senator Kerry Nettle.

Where do resistance get all the good looking new members from? Kinda makes me wish I never dogged them.

Good looking members? Resistance? Send 'em down here!

Good looking members...

Well, I can still remember the ones I saw at a SAlt meeting in Melb though. ;)

I really need to move. :(

But moving to Melbourne would be such a waste. At least move Queensland.

Queensland is the erect phallus of this country, it is the state that manly men move to to increase their interaction with the vaginas of many females, so go there Chris, and may your seed flow as freely from your (left wing) penis as four x from the tap.

But in all seriousness, QLD seems shit. Melb and Syd are the place to be.

"Ian: Reppin' Sydney 4 lyf."

Hobart is the place to be at (when the tempurature is not sub zero that is).

Edit: er um. I meant that to be not sub zero. So I've changed it.

That reminds me of when I caught up with this guy I went to high school with who I hadn't seen in ages who told me he went to the Gold Coast for his 18th birthday and lost his virginity when he had a one night stand with a chick on the beach.

:o

Errr... anyway. I think we need some more "End the lies" rallies given the result of this election. <_<
