i was just wondering what you guys think is the best way to encourage the proletariat to develop a class consciousness and therefore bring the revolution closer? it seems in the modern day most people are happy to go as left wing as Labour ( ) but no further, and more likely to go right wing. how can we encourage this to change?

i believe the work now should be concentrated in the unions.

the stronger the unions, the more class consious workers become as they fight for their interests against those of the ruling class.

We as socialists should enter the unions, and be where the workers are at the moment looking for solutions.

Discuss with people in general how the government is [email protected]@king us up the arse! You may find they don't agree but when something applies to them they will almost certainly remeber what you said.
Essentially wether they agree with you or not the seed is sown in them, and when what you say comes apparent they will recall what you said and then they may act upon it.
It is all about sympathising and recognising the struggles of the working class and relaying it to them, then they will realise that an alternative exists and will react accordingly, being in the unions is good but union membership is low compared to the 80's because many gave up on unions because of the dodgy and sometimes right wing leaderships, remeber Scargill shit on the miners, and I've been told he said he could not live on less than £70000 a year, what a twat!!! It is important to make the workers realise they need to unite, wether that be thru a union or just in general but the rise in unofficial and offcial strikes tells me that the workers are already well aware that Labour is just NOT the party of the working class anymore and that they need to have a party that represents them, it is time for a new mass workers party that represents the workers NOT big business as Blair has claimed Labour now is.
