View Full Version : Possible Elections in Israel

Sharon failed today in approving in the Likud congress his suggestion to let the Labour Party (don't be mislead by their name - they're liberals) join the goverment.

I'm just so full of happiness at his failure

Now there are 2 options for Sharon:

1) Ignore his party's decision. He did it last time, when his party decided to opposed his "seperation plan". But then he just gave the plan some small changes and said it's a different plan, this time he can't do that.

2) Go for elections. I hope he'll do it, because it'll give us a chance to fight for public opinion - which is very disturbed by his corruption and by his economical policies.

And even if option 1 will occur, than we'll have a better opposition to fight Sharon, because the Labour will return to the opposition and the orthodoxs wouldn't want to join a dead goverment walking.

So, let's cross our fingers ;) !
