Everybody knew the opposition would try to claim fraud, that was expected. They have however not produced any evidence so far. And even that sqoundrel Carter said the there was no signs of fraud as did the rest of the obsevateurs.

He seems to be trying, I have my reservations about him though. He could have advanced the movement by a twitch of his fingers many times. However what is most important is the movement he he rests on, those are the people who will hold him to his promises.

Where can I get more information about what Chavez is doing in Venezuela? What has Chavez said about his opinions on Communism, Marxism, and Socialism? What does he "officially" consider himself?

The corporate media in the U.S cant be trusted. Go to other sources, like the BBC.

Thank goodness, he did it. So happy. What a relief. The U.S. cracks me up, how dare they try to get him recalled and then get pissed it didn't work and claim the election was a fraud.

HEY earth to anyone who thinks the election was a fraud...
There's a lot more poor people in Venezuala than rich. That's the facts.

Hopefully the Chavez victory in Vzla will have a ripple effect throughout Latin America. He may not have claimed to be Socialist, but his tendenacies demonstrate Socialist ideology and thats why the opposition is shitting in there pants. All of a sudden, the oil revenue that they were able to line their pockets with is now apparently being spent on the poor and hungry. Thats a pretty big "FUCK YOU" to the elite class of Venezuela.

To do that though I rekon he actually needs to openly declare himself to be a leftist. That way he will be able to publicly support leftists in other countries. Before he does that though, he needs to implement proper leftist policies in Venezuala, to give the other countries a good example.

comrades,

you can find out alot about Chavez here (http://www.marxist.com/Latinam/encounters_with_hugo_chavez.html)

it's a brilliant well written feature on the Man in my opinion!

About George W. Bush, Chavez expresses himself in terms of the deepest contempt. "Personally, he is a coward. He attacked Fidel Castro at a meeting of the Organization of American States (OAS) when Fidel was not present. If he had been there he would not have dared to do it. They say he is frightened to meet me and I believe it. He tries to avoid me. But one time we were together at an OAS summit and he was sitting quite near to me." Chavez chuckled to himself.

"I had one of those swivel chairs and I was sitting with my back to him. Then, after a while, I spun the chair round so I was facing him. "Hello, Mr. President!" I said. His face turned colour – from red to purple to blue. You can tell the man is just a bundle of complexes. That makes him dangerous – because of the power he has in his hands."
