You can download his music free of charge from his website (davidrovics.com). If you can afford it you should really make a donation if you download a lot of stuff but it's up to you of course.

His politics are absolutely rock-solid and he can really twang a tune.

Highly reccomended.

I like Rovics,though he does sometimes sacrifice melody and structure for the message.If you like him,I'd also recommend Attila The Stockbroker,Steve Earle,and Utah Phillips.
