WE WANT BUSH TO WIN

The statement said it supported U.S. President George W. Bush in his reelection campaign, and would prefer him to win in November rather than the Democratic candidate John Kerry, as it was not possible to find a leader "more foolish than you (Bush), who deals with matters by force rather than with wisdom."

In comments addressed to Bush, the group said:

"Kerry will kill our nation while it sleeps because he and the Democrats have the cunning to embellish blasphemy and present it to the Arab and Muslim nation as civilisation."

"Because of this we desire you (Bush) to be elected."

The group said its cells were ready for another attack and time was running out for allies of the United States.

"Whose turn is it next? Will it be Japan or America, or Italy, Britain or Oslo or Australia?" the statement said, adding Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were also targets.

The group is named after Muhammed Atef, also known as Abu Hafs, a close bin Laden aide killed in the U.S.-led war in Afghanistan.

I think the article was both interesting and funny, but I reacted when it said: "Will it be Japan (a country), or America (country), Italy (a country), Britain (a country) or Oslo (a city), or Austarlia (a country)?

And why did they mention Oslo? I mean, we only have 100 troops in Iraq, and maybe 150 in Afghanistan...

To me it sounds like a hint, that Oslo is the next target. Damn, I was in Oslo yesterday, and I have family there. :(

Yep, it seems like they let somethig slip there, but I don't think so. By mentioning Oslo they are reminding the people of Norway that al-Qaeda might go after them. Remember the whole point of terrorism is to put fear and terror into people, and this was just another way of doing that.

Al-Queda won't attack Japan because they believe that the Japanese had already suffered enough because of the Atomic Bombs dropped on Japan and they understand why the Japanese Government sucks up so much to the U.S.

Bin Laden even said that Japan won't be attacked.

As for the U.S. other allies, their faith would depend on their stand with the U.S.

They've already attacked Japan. In 1994, they bombed a Japanese airline flight bound for the phillipines.

Anyway, I'm not surprised by this, al-Qaeda prefers to have Bush in office, but Bush is not going after them. Part of Kerry's platform is that Bush has forgotten about Bin laden and al-Qaeda and if he were elected, he would be more committed to targeting them.

And Bin Laden is probaly a pretty trust worhty guy. The fact is, Japan deployed military personell to Iraq, which is pissing the Arab world off.

I agree with them in the matter that there is absolutely no difference between the two "opponents" except one is vaguely retarded.
