Hey,

I could give a fuck about the rest of your message board. I see a forum grossly entitled science, and wish to help improve the quality of that forum. This must be a brief endeavor, since I am due back at school in a couple weeks, and won't have time for your shit anyways. However, I would be greatly appreciative if you would open up the board to me so I can post in that particular forum. You have my word that I will not post in any other forum that you wish to restrict me from. I am offering my services as a scholar to contribute to the quality of the board, which I have always done, regardless of your opinion of me. I have refrained from disturbing your board for about a year. Rest assured, I am a changed man. I won't be around much anyways. Between getting laid, taking three hour exams, studying and taking the LSATs, and solving engineering problems that could potentially take hours or days, I think you will find that I really don't have time to pester you people. Give me another chance, and allow me to contribute to science. I will not insult or harrass anyone because of their ideology. What do you say? Let's take a vote. Isn't democracy the hinge pin of a communist society.

Well, I really don't have time to bicker or argue about something so petty. I'll let you guys make up your mind. Either way you decide is fine by me. I'm not going to sit here and beg to do you a favor. Think it over. Have a moderator e-mail me when you make a definitive decision. You know where to find me. I thought it would be nice to let bygones be bygones, and increase the level of discussion in the science forum. If you would rather continue as is, I have other people I can talk to about science. I don't see any problem with people being let into the science forum.
But i do see a problem with letting someone in who is as rude as you are.

Shouldn't something as objective, empirical, and universally important and beneficial as science be opened up to everyone and not politicized?

I think there are many misguided individuals in philosophy section who need help but there''s nothing much I can do unless the board does something about it first

If the answer ends up ebing yes though, not only will you not post in any other forums, but you will not even slightly politicize any of your posts in the science forum.

So if I were you, I would avoid any threads about greed and human nature, about race or anything of the sort.

Anyways, we're discussing your situation and we'll get back to you on it. We're not even sure you should be here in the first place.

You have my word that I will not politicize science. If I feel the need to cross that line, I can retreat to oppossing ideologies. However, I doubt I will even be as prevalent there as I have been in the past. I truly believe you should give me a second chance. My hatred for the left has become more of a dull headache these days. I have no desire to fight a political battle in the scientific realm. I will even try to be nicer to those who demonstrate complete stupidity in the science forums. I do think the science forum should be used for science posts. That is one rule I wish you guys would enforce.

I think you should let us both in. We have both been around here for a long time. How about extending an olive branch, and letting the two of us demonstrate that we are mature enough to handle discussion in a rather non-partisan forum. We have been living in oppossing ideologies for two long. Show the world that you are not afraid to let us out of the box and into some decent conversation elsewhere. Truthfully, debating you guys on politics gets kind of boring. It's okay once in a while, but I would rather discuss something else, a topic where even leftist might want to listen to what I have to say.

As an act of good faith, let me apologize for for the crack I took at Che himself in the Jay-z thread, before I was recaged. I was excited to be back on, got a little overzealous, and fell into the old habit of attacking first asking questions later. I did try to back-peddle, mainly because I realized I was on my way back to the box. Whatever the case, I know how you guys feel about your hero, and should not have disrespected your icon in a non-OI thread. I was wrong, it won't happen again.

Restriction on this site means you lose all posting privledges other than what is appropriate for this forum only

Upon restriction you lose the right to post chit chat style topics. You lose the right to post topics of a philosophical and scientific nature. You lose the right to post topics about music, literature; etc.

If you don't like it then leave.
