Is anyone into them?
The other night I went to their show, and I must say I was very impressed :D
Soufly played for close to 2 hours. They played a lot of their newer and older stuff, and then did some Sepultura songs (Inner Self, Territory and Roots). I sure wish they would have done more of those. But either way, they were still good to see.

Ive been a pretty die hard fan for a while.
I got their first three soulfly albums and sepultura: Roots, Chaos Ad, Under a pale grey sky (live 2 cd album) - and Roorback by Sepultura (without max).
I love the lefty shit in there and the tribalism/native rights stuff. But I think hes getting a bit too christian for my liking - he had a thank you to tsar nickolaus (spelling sorry) in the last soulfly album - whats the deal with that? there was 'born again anarchist' at least - i think he is growing a bit more conservative with age and much more deeply chritian.
I still havent seen soulfly live, they came once but that was b4 i was really into music. If i ever get the chance i'll see them. I wanna see Ill Nino too, they tour together sometimes. I think their second album was a bit of a let down.
Hope max becomes more political again. Their new guitarist (the former ill nino one) is really good. soulfly should do a show in Cuba and one in Venezuela.
Chao Ad, tanks on the street.....

No, I didn't take any pics while I was there. I should have, though.

Yeah, Max has been getting pretty religious lately. Ill Nino was there too, and they were great. That was my second time seeing Ill Nino, since a few years back. I didn't know their former guitarist was with Soufly, though. I knew he looked familiar from somewhere. When Soulfly's first self-titled album came out, I really got into them. They will never be as good as Sepultura of course, back when Max was still with them.
But seriously, check them out the next time they're playing a show around you. It'll be worth it. :)
