does anyone watch this? ( the england version ) it is so unbeliably biased.
the thing that pushed it over the top for me was a documentary on the Korean War, making general Mcarthar or how ever you spell it sound like a god, they even said " the god of combat " and always giving the war from the side of the americans, not once talking about koreans other then say they were suicidal soldiers with good tactics.
but when it came to the americans they were supposibly ultra human, with ultra good machines of weaponary and ultra good generals.
i've really had enough of it, only saying about the greatness of the american army and the flaws of the oposing army.

I watch the history channel some times. It can be very interesting. Just pick out fact from fiction and you'll be fine. And you may see some cool shit too!

There isn't a time I turn to that channel I don't see Nazis, stuff about the second world war or guns. They even run ads that support Bush's reelection.
Of course they will always be biased towards the American and British and make them sound like gods from not of this world. It's just another way for them to put out propaganda that they are undefeatable and will destroy anyone who tries to get in there way, so then the people watching this will be able to get off of it. Kinda like what happens when they watch channels like Fox News.

Some of you guys need to take off your tinfoil hats.

Well, I have no idea what you mean by "ultra human", I wasn't aware someone could be more human than someone else. However, what part about them having good weapons and generals did you find inacurrate ?
The History channel is obviously somewhat biased, try to find one media source in the U.S that isn't. However, you guys act like they are blatantly lying. For the most part they tell what happened and exagerrate a bit. I don't think the History Channel is that bad at all.

I like the History Channel. I've found that it illuminates some aspects of history you don't often see despite giving the establishment line on things. (what else could you expect? They have to advertise!)
I really love how they don't hold back...for example the bit on Japanese brutality during WWII. If they took that objective but gross your ass out attitude to US imperalism in Central America the world would be a better (and slightly more disgusting) place.

Canada has a decent history channel, I think.
The American History Channel, though, what I've seen of it is Civil War and WW II.
Reminds me of a bit done once on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, when a ship, loaded with gold intended to help the south, was sunk, as Rob Corrdy put it, by a German U-boat. Or something.
