How do you deal with the dual lives and standards that people are taught to live? The world tells me to have a prestigious job and that money is good. My moral conscience says otherwise, telling me that a more sufferable path is the more righteous. That without money is the way to "heaven." I am asking this question generally and only using the example as a guidance tool. The discussion is not just about money.
I'm vey frustrated about my life path.

Thanks.

You just have to go along with it.I can't see how you can make it otherwise.

Right livlihood. It may mean a pay cut but when you die it means you helped somebody other than yourself and at your funeral others will see all you helped. This is the best legacy and far from ego is a good example.
Che would approve!

You are at odds with your socialization. Fight it.

Be moral and work toward revolution, but don't let society tell you how to be a righteous or virtuous human being.

"you can't always get what you want, but if you try some time you just might find, you get what you need!" oh ya mick jagger/rolling stones

Visualize change, work toward it both spiritually and physically, and change will come, purhaps only moderatley, or even radically, utopia is possible.............

be strong, and maybe you will live on like our friend Che
