I like ska but I've never heard of those bands.
Have you heard of The Dead 60's? They are a new band who sound a lot like The Specials.

I know some of the bands.
I think ska is ok but it has a tendency to become so fucking boring, because it is simple music. And most bands dunno how to renew it.

Banda Bassotti, Kortatu, Betagarri, Skalariak,Boikot are all bands that I've heard and enjoy, eventhough I don't know the lyrics. I know their message is dead on though.

Well, here´s a song by Banda Bassotti:

Forte il pugno che colpirá in ogni paese,in ogni cittá,
chi camina sopra i corpi,violenta le culture,cancela i ricordi.
Forte il braccio che altzerá la bandiera rossa de la libertá,
come el chi combate suil monti con le scarpe rote quando fischia il vento.
Come Augusto César Sandino,José Martí y Camilo Torres,
come el chi combate col cuore la causa dei poveri contro l´opressore.
Come Steven Biko,Hochimin,la comandante Clelia,Samora Machel,
come el Che,Farabundo Martí,Figli della stessa rabbia.
Come i Sioux,e i Cheyenne,Tupac Amaru e Simón Bolívar,
Come el Che,Farabundo Martí,Figli della stessa rabbia.

I love when they sing "Forte il braccio che altzerá la bandiera rossa della libertá";it means: "Strong the arm wich will raise the red flag of freedom"

know their message is dead on though.
Sorry,this isn´t true.

The only band I've heard from the Basque Country are Negu Gorriak who were great. It's a shame they split up.

Negu Gorriak were the same band as Kortatu.First they were Kortatu and then Negu Gorriak. They are the Muguruza brothers and another guy.
I think Kortatu is better, and are more famous.

I'm guessing you don't know what I mean by "dead on".
