Socialism after a nuclear Holocaust?

Lately my bourgeois father has been reading this book on Al Queda and nuklear weapons.This has caused him to worry and frett over the possible anihalition Of the united states of America by that dastardly barbarian osama bin laden. He backs up this claim with cia reports of missing nukes and threats by those terrible terrorists. Now knowing the bureaucracy of todays capitalist pseudo "democracy" and their government agencys, I personally believe that these Terror organizations could possibly set off these Nuclear devices and blow america to kingdom come and ruining all of the Government of Mr. bush and his buddys. Now the question is if these events happen could we the people turn whats left of america into a socialism or even better yet a communism?

Definitely science-fiction.

Any massive use of nuclear weapons would "re-set" the historical agenda for the survivors. The transition from savagery to barbarism would be the new challenge for the remnants of humanity.

Partial use of nuclear weapons, on the other hand, might make the achievement of feudalism an attractive possibility.

Pretty grim stuff.

And what happened in these motion pictures—savagery; "everyman for himself".

I think that's what it would be like if such a thing were to happen.
