The Economist (http://www.economist.com/)

If you've ever wanted to know what the ruling class really thinks about something...this is the site to visit.

Marx himself consulted this magazine from the late 1840s until the end of his life whenever he wanted to discuss authoritative capitalist opinion.

Far removed from the right-wing dummy sites, The Economist will provide invaluable insight into what the real decision-makers are up to.

It's updated every Thursday about 7:00 PM (19:00) London time.

About 30% of the site is free; the whole thing costs $69.00 a year. Many public libraries also have it.

Check it out!

Yeah, this is a good magazine compared to US ones. This one is from the UK, it has some good info that CNN doesn't cover.

Applaud!

Yes it's the only magazine outside of the liberal literary critiques no one reads that addresses globalization and neoliberalism.

;) But of course from a PRO PRO Capitalist perspective.

Every article is basically this:

"Yes capitalism isn't working, they SAY, because of this, and all these people are suffering.
But is that really what's going on or can't we actually blame this country for not applying the World Bank, IMF, WTO RECOMMENDATIONS, ie.) Privatizing social services [Argentina]
soon enough, that's why capitalism didn't work, they weren't capitalist enough, now that we have that solved lets all pat ourselves on the back and have another cup of tea, because we all know if you're reading this magazine you're one of us RIGHT! and you do want to be one of us.

Otherwise, you are nothing, and we will exterminate you if you get in our way. Oh yes if you would like to be one of us and daddy has money we'll give you a scholarship to London School of Buisness's Oxford MBA program, just apply in the back."
Cheerio

I read it from time to time. Also Financial Times. It's stupid not to, first of all you can get a lot of figures to use in articles and so on. Also it's good to get an insight in capitalist economics. They don't hide when the economy is going very bad.
They just have some funny ways to fix it :D
(well they make sense from a capitalist point of view, but they always include fucking up a large part of the population in the respective countries)
