time - country - world
when i dreamt with my pen,
time kicked my dreams,
dreams were left as dreams!
when i expressed myself
country asked me to stop the noise,
expressions became noice!
when i tried to stand up gathering my strength ,
world threatened me,
strength became a threat!

good poem
I posted this a while back in Chit chat:
I stand in boxes of lost and costly thoughts, I resort...
To staring at walls, falling into traps of logistic thoughts...
I was taught, to learn to burn the memories of past hurt...
But it returns - sirens of pain on high masts of alert...
The dirt is burnt but conscience scars will remain the same...
Slayed the pain but the devil still stains my brain...
Stays the same, carve the terror that will starve forever...
Never leave, on every endeavour that hunger will sever...
My levels of cleverness, outwit with ish' so I pray to wish...
To avoid the crucifix and make the devil kip with the fish...
Picture this - I created satan indide my mind inside..
Ride or die? I try to cry but the pain still blinds my eyes...
End of lives? I strive to retain pride and teach this beast...
He feasts my thoughts - Leeches my anger released...
Battle in heat, bringing pain till im strained on the ground...
Im looking around - Surrounded by laughter and sound...
Pounded and broken - Contantly hoping and coping...
Laugh the smoke off and hope this ogre is joking...
Pass me a rope - It's suicide or I'm commiting a felony...
For thinking im stronger than sin...and defeating an endless enemy...

Mine is not a poem;it's actually a song:(I've posted it in a lyrics thread)
Do something
I’m sick of hearing things which really hurt
I wonder if I can get over that
Have a look around you, open your eyes
See wars taking place–full of lies
How many deaths can you count?
How many lives have been taken out
Say something open your mouth
Listen to the mothers crying out
People dying from hunger and disease
Nobody cares, nobody sees
Look at the masters-what do they do?
They seem to be insensible they don’t have a clue
Say something, open your mouth
Listen to the mothers crying out
If you want to go and save Peru
Don’t expect them to do it for you
Take action now without a second thought
Don’t let them do what they want
Say something, open your mouth
I’m sure you really work it out

This is my poem
Life
The wine fills the bottle
I cannot see the bottom
For such has been my life
Which is fated to be

all these poems kick ass. i'll post 2 of my short ones, i don't think anyone wants to read my three page epic (which doesnt even have the right meter anyway)
the first one is a dada style poem, i just picked random words of of a bag. the second is what came to mind when i looked at the painting Homage to Still Life by Carlos Almaraz
Ice Tea, Long Island Style Baby
Central neon glass is dark
Go smoke at celebrity boutique
Lest her liberty take the bagel
Guggenheim films restaurant apples perform Broadway
Take not Empire fashion but produce pretzel show star
Buy a bridge
A dog drinks the Harlem jazz
Sandwich days gone badly
Stop cold play pass
Ask subway, “Want to jog to Brooklyn?”
The Party
Pumping through my veins
Maybe I had too much to drink
My liver can handle it
Colors reverberate through my mind
Bright and flashy, then they change again
Some dress up as devils while a little girl with a rainbow ball runs through the hall
Dancers on the floor grooving and grinding
Charlie tries to be suave with the ladies
Was that a glove slap I just heard
Someone comes in with sliced pears and stilton, very classy indeed
Cognac, gin, whisky, scotch, vodka, what’s your drinking delight
Outside the smokers take a break
Some watching TV while others swim in the pool
DJ just got here in time to groove a little more
What’s that another one, hey its Sasha and Digweed laying down a new cut
It’s been going on for hours now I’m out
Chill in the quiet area a few people are passed out, lightweights
There I met Julia, start chatting with her, we click instantly
We start discussing everything and I think I love her
She says she has to go but gives me her number
I put it in my pocket for safe keeping
I finish the day sipping coffee watching the party

Here's one of my favorite poems it was written by a legendary Japanese strategist during the Warring States Era.I know you're only suppose to post your own poems but I'd like to share one of my favorite poems with you guys.
Death
Even a life-long prosperity is but one cup of sake;
A life of forty-nine years is passed in a dream;
I know not what life is, nor death.
Year in year out-all but a dream.
Both Heaven and Hell are left behind;
I stand in the moonlit dawn,
Free from clouds of attachment.

run from the dark
into the light
sunlight to streetlight
off of the grass
onto the concrete
we're going marching on a treadmill

Crazy
Ain't it crazy
To crazily wonder
Seeing crazy people
In this crazy world?
