Supposedly, Bush doesn't think fondly of Hitler. Though, the only sign I ever saw of this was when the Republican party released a video likening Kerry (Bush's primary opponent, in case you're not up-to-date U.S. politics) and his proponents to Hitler. It's called "Coalition of the Wild-Eyed" and can be found here (http://www.georgewbush.com/News/MultiMedia/VideoPlayer.aspx?ID=901&T=2).

There are still neo-nazis, but the U.S. was known to be a huge supporter for fascism. Especially when fascism first erupted in Italy, the profits started to boom for American investors. America was kissing Hitlers ass for the enormous profits, then WW2 came up and Germany/Italy fell out of the interests of the Western World.

Not hitlerism, but fascism for sure.

does bush hate hitler?

If you would ask President Bush he would say "no." Bush would like Baelzabub himself if he would make a ton of cash for him. FDR was a great supporter of Hitler and Mussolini untill the war erupted.

Bush is a Christian fundamentalist, where as Hitler and the Nazi Party, were very much opposed to Christianity, as they were so warped that they hated it, because it was derived from judaism.

Bush is a Christian fundamentalist yes but i think its just rhetoric and he’d drop it fast if he thought he could keep up his support and make some cash.

Bush is a bigtime Christian fundamentalist. He's already said in a few of his speeches that it was god who instructed him to strike at al-Qaeda and Saddam Hussein, so he listened to him.

Got to watch those wee little men who hears voices in their head, never know what the voice may tell them.

I recall reading how that Adoof, while being a message-runner in the trenches supposedly heard a voice telling him to move from where he was then standing to another place, upon which a bomb suddenly exploded killing all those in that area, this Adoof accredited to 'providence' as proof of his mission from god as it were.

Adoof had been an altar-boy in his youth and had dreamt of one day becoming a priest and is recorded as telling of how he would become intoxicated with the rapturous music as a young choir-boy.

Adoof and certain leading nazi officers were indeed christians, although it was a mythical-type christianity being rooted in Nordic legends and coupled with the stupid doctrine of Aryan blood, that Jesus was not a Jew but an Aryan which the Jews had laid claim to and that a bastardized christianity had accepted into the original creed.

There are scores of documents attesting to the fact that Adoof and select nazi's were in the business of christian revisionism, and as for this gross hatred of the Jewish people, this age-old European psycho-drama the nazi's simply made use of by tagging it onto the emergence of Communism.

Adoof did not create anti-semitism in Germany,he merely exaggerated an already existent phenomenon which boiled beneath the surface of most Germans at that time, likewise he knew that this hatred could be made most effective by means of gauging German christians in that,as its been long accepted, the Jews were the ones who betrayed and murdered the christians savior.

I am aware that some wish to make a comparison betwix G.W. and Adoof but this for the most part is nonsensical in that Bush lacks any real intelligence, for Adoof, even though he was a sick and twisted individual, still,he possessed a deranged form of genius.

This doesnt mean that Bush wouldnt like to hold the same mass adoration as Adoof held over the German people, however,Bush has neither the talent nor the proper PR personel to pull this off.

One of the fundimental reasons why Hitler became such a hit in Germany was simply because he got involved in the right place at the right time.

Adolf came in a time where German pride was severely trodden by the allied powers and the Versailles treaty, and also at a time when Germany was severly pissed of with their conditions.

The government was loosing popularity because it didn't appear to be making much difference and because of the failures of the moderate parties, we could see the two extremes of Fascism and Communism gain ground with the masses.

Hitler became popular simply because he offered a conclusion to the German people of who was to blame to the Fatherland's defeat and following ridicule, which were of course the Jews and also the communists.

Hitler also promised to avenge Germany's woes and restore German pride. His admitedly excellent powers of speech and presuasion along with this refreshing message of course pushed all the right buttons with the German masses, and Hitler basically became a cult.

Why do we still see "Hitlerites" today? In my oppinion it is partially made up of some who just want to be rebellious and stand out, and also of others who in their own way are looking for someone to provide all the answers to their problems.

Could their be another Nazi state? Anything is possible, especially if you recreate the conditions imposed on Germany in the 1920's and 30's
